So yeah this place is clearly prejudice against nocturnal people I arrived at 3 after getting off work hoping to pick up items for the next days football game watching party. They would not sell me later, they would not cut steaks for me, and the deli 2 get trays with potato salad and the deli to get trays with potato salad and pasta salad was closed as well. I understand having reduced Staffing of areas in the evenings due to a somewhat smaller customer base shopping at those hours but to actually refuse service to customers with money in hand wanting to make purchases seems a bit asinine especially when you have employees simply standing around. I am beginning to understand why Meijer has been having some issues expanding their business even though in many ways they are better than Walmart with comparable pricing.
Always have great prices. Every time I go there to buy food with my family it is clean, well stocked and I am always met with a warm smile and a nice greeting. All employees help me out when I need help finding stuff. Great place overall.
I love going here they are so nice and have lots of good deals. Everyone should go here and buy stuff then you will see how great this store is they have it all from food to shoes to camping an fishing gear.
I like Meijer because it the closest and usually least crowded. They have a lot of what you are looking for but, some specialty foods Kroger is nice. The prices at Meijer are also a little better than Kroger at least seem that my way to me but still not reasonable. It can sometimes be hard to find what you are looking but just ask and generally helps is found at either place. Meijer sells clothes, baby stuff, furniture, toys, dishes, pots n pans, household things, craft stuff, fishing stuff, towels, electronics, bicycles, pet supplies, camping gear, grills, lawn mowers, games, movies, cell phones, florist, just about everything Kroger carries a lot of the same stuff or things Meijer except higher prices and a lot smaller of a store and crowded. Plus Meijer is open 24hrs not the Pharmacy but the rest of the store is open for business. Meijer also has a US Bank that is open late like to seven and open Sat. And maybye Sun. a few hours it is great having a store and bank so close and easy to access especially while doing your shopping. Meijer became a permanent fixture out here giving us another choice on where we shop and get different and certain items. I love we have options we never used to.
Stopping in quickly to see if the grapes were still on sale. My friend and I were going to grab a bite to eat afterwards. When we entered the store we could smell cooked food. It smelled delicious. We went to the deli area and talked to the clerk about the menu. Decided on the 2 piece chicken breast and wing with potato wedges roll and a drink for $4.99 and my friend got the 6 piece wing with potato wedges roll and a drink for $4.99. We both enjoyed our meals. The clerk was friendly, informative and extremely patient while we were placing our orders. My only concern was the distance we had to go to get our drinks.
