Fair food quality when they aren't understaffed. Sometimes it's what you'd expect and sometimes it will make you sick.
The staff is mixed. A few wonderful gems who show great customer service. The rest are unhappy and it shows.
The food was good, don't get me wrong. But the service was a little on the slow side. They were under staffed and there weren't even a lot of people dining. The wait was just a little longer then I would have liked. Also, my debit card was overcharged for the meal that me and my sister ordered. I paid for our meal and a total came to $24. I left a tip. But my card was charged almost $10 more then what our bill and tip was. I called to talk to the manager the same evening, and I was told that I needed to talk to the general manager but he wasn't in at the moment so I needed to call him the next morning. So when I call the next morning to speak with the general manager he was not available because he was in a meeting and I was told again to call back in an hour. So I called back in an hour, and I was told that he was still not available because he was in the kitchen. They told me once again to call back a little later. Every time I left my information so he can call me back when he was free he never called me back. Long story short, they were understaffed, the wait for our food and drinks were to long, & they all over charge you and won't let you talk to anyone to get the problem solved. I'm not saying don't eat there, but I for one will not be returning. Word to the wise, go when you have time to spare, and pay with cash if you can. Save yourself a headache.
The floor is always greasy and very slippery. I tend to shuffle to the table because it feels safer.
We wait to sitting (no one was at the front) we wait for take order for drinks, we wait for our food, in total we spend almost 2 hours waiting, we eat in 20 min. We never see a manager on the front! Also the restaurant was not full, probably 25% of the tables was occupied. Our server explained to us, they have a problem with the printer and the order never came out...for 3 tables they we notice. One table left so upset. Really needs to put more attention to the POS system, improve your equipment. Definitely we will not coming back. We love it, but we have more options too.
It stays very busy and can take a while to get seated or served.
A ROLL OF THE DICE
I actually was lead to believe that Cracker Barrel was going to be opened. It was not, however IHOP was open and they indeed was slammed with unexpected additional crowd. They handled the crowd beautifully and the manager went in the back and helped with cooking to get things moving forward faster. I am a Cracker Barrel person, I do however know how to compliment good service when it takes place.
Ohhhhhh my. Way to long for water, food and service. Was told they were out of cinnamon too. Really??? Wont be back.
