Fabulous veterinary care every time. Two experienced veterinarians. All staff very gentle, caring and knowledgeable. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
The people at this vet are awesome but the prices are high. I found a stray and took her in. I had her blood tested, had a flea preventative put on her, got all of her shots, got her chipped and had her spayed. My bill was over $300. I was expecting more like $150- $200. I have two other cats and the most they cost to get fixed was $50 (One was done by the human society, the other at Kroner Animal Hospital in Athens. I usually get their shots for $40-$50 at Vetco. It cost me $50 each to get them chipped at Kroner.
We found a little stray kitten wandering the neighborhood, and built her a shelter to keep her from freezing. We then took her inside and called to find a vet who could get her veterinary needs addressed and give her a good bath. Dr. Schwab and her staff did a great job getting her preliminary vet prep done and returned her to us. She had diarrhea and Dr. Schwab's and her staff got that under control. Now she is playful, getting stronger, and should be available to be sent to a new home soon.
